Call of Duty pro gamer Phillip "Phizzurp" Klemenov has died, his team H2K has confirmed.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and all of those who were lucky enough to have him in their lives," H2K said in a statement.

According to online reports from the US, the 23-year-old was involved in a car accident in Aurora, Colorado.
A woman who appears to be his girlfriend Adrienne Lemus, confirms the news in a video shared on social media.
Fellow gamers paid tribute to Phizzurp online
The exact circumstances around the accident are yet to be confirmed by police.

Reports suggest Phizzurp died in hospital, while another passenger died at the scene.

In the video, which is thought to show a tearful Adrienne, she describes how her boyfriend "died in her arms".
An online fundraiser has been set up to help pay for funeral costs and within 11 hours has reached $15,000 (£11,600).

This is crazy how life can hit friends and family member's so hard in a matter of seconds. Rumors were going to around saying he was drink driving, and the police report said he wasn't. Hate rumors just mucks up the whole story line in a way. Also "the passenger" was his best friend so he died as well. BUT odd thing here the GF survived wtf. One lucky thing to survive a car accident. Seen the GF video on Twitter very saddening. Who ever is in-charge of that fundraiser they changed the price to $15k to $20k now. I don't watch his video's or him play NEVER. Never heard of him before so it's sad to loose a H2K member like that in a heart beat.
