Resident Evil 7 Teaser: Beginning Hour Reaches 3 Million Downloads

Capcom has announced that the demo for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard has reached over 3 million worldwide downloads on the PlayStation Network.

Originally released after Resident Evil 7‘s reveal at E3 2016, the demo titled Beginning Hour was released for PlayStation Plus subscribers. It has since become free for anyone to download.

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will support the PlayStation 4 Pro with 4K and HDR support, and Capcom has also announced it will support HDR through the Xbox One S.

Resident Evil 7 is scheduled to be released for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on January 24, 2017.

I wasn't a fan of the 6th game, but I really hope the 7th one in the series is pretty great. I have heard good things about this game.

Honestly, the teaser looks like it kind of strays away from the Resident Evil type story. It looked like it would fit a game that resembles more of Outlast or something. Either way, once the actual trailer is out, I'm sure that will give more insight on it, just right now the teaser when compared to RE4 or RE5; those teasers looked like they fit more, as it looked like a combat/survival/horror/ where as this teaser looked more like a survival/horror and in my mind, the only combat will be through quick time events or player choices.

OG I hope that RE7 is going to be better than the past few titles, 5, operation raccoon city, and 6 were kinda let downs compared to RE4 and under. Maybe this one will be awesome.

I thought Resident Evil 5 was the best in the series. I had so much fun playing it, it got a little boring after a while but it was still a very fun game.
