Modern Warfare Remastered vs Original Multiplayer Graphics Comparison

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was released way back in 2007 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, so you’d expect there to be some pretty noticeable improvements, nearly 10 years on.

Modern Warfare was never an ugly game by any stretch. In 2007 it was pretty much a thing of beauty, and it hasn’t exactly aged badly – but the footage of the remastered version really puts it in the shade. It really looks like the team have gone all out on this one.

The game won’t be sold as a standalone release. You’ll have to buy Infinite Warfare to get a download, which comes with the original (and awesome) campaign, as well as 10 multiplayer maps. At the moment only three maps have been confirmed; Crash, Backlot, and Crossfire.

I would of been happy with the original being brought back. Especially mw2.

Why would they change the lighting effect so much? im fine with just a texture and Visual upgrade but messing with the lighting is something i hate seeing. the darkness of the original game gave an awesome effect for me especially for the era it was portrayed. anyone else agree? other than the lighting the game looks really good. still a shame you cant buy it seperate but it is what it is

Enlighten me. How is it ruined

If they implement the server configuration and structure that all games past MW2 did, then that's enough to ruin it alone. If they remove small features like object positions in maps, that again, will be enough to ruin it because it won' feel original.

I can also tell you for a fact that they will probably change the servers for the worse which I won't buy. Not with that 800ms ping configuration and terrible optimized lag compensation which does fuq all. I mean cmon, it's Activision, we all know they're going to piss it all up the wall....

But, and it's a big BUT. They are not releasing it on last gen consoles, so they could have possibly realised that milking the game is not working and actually improve the quality of it.

Everyone who says its ruined is stupid, of course they will remove the glitches/bounces/elevators and update locations, if you want to play the game with glitches, play CoD4, the whole reason I'm hyped for it is because I can play a nice simple CoD again to rank up and have fun.

Ugh, another idiot comparing the PC version of CoD4 maxed out. Yeah, of course that's going to look good. But for the most that played the game at 1024x600 then upscaled to 720p on consoles will notice a much larger disparity there. Another misleading comparison video :]
