Battlefield 4 receives new UI, Details and Video Inside

4.7
Today a new Battlefield User Interface has been released across Xbox and Playstation platforms. You will be prompt to download a 3.9 GB update when loading up Battlefield 4. The new update gives Battlefield a complete new overhaul and when Battlefield 1 drops later this fall it will have the same user interface and it will make it easier to swap between both titles as long as you have a copy of both of the games.

Everything has been revamped from the server browser to how you join squads which is said to be a much smoother experience when joining with your friends online. On the Home Tab you will see server recommendations, recent battlefield news, and shortcuts to things like your settings, battlepacks, campaign, and more.

If you hop onto Battlefield 4 give us your thoughts on the new user interface below.

Ethan- Really nice they update an older game. Its cool because they FAILED on hardline lol what a joke

Hardline did exactly what they wanted it to. Was targeted at a different group of people. Hardline was supposed to be a filler between BF4 and BF1 while attracting more consumers to the franchise. Their plan worked.

Couldn't have said this better myself. It was the perfect marketing scheme. They did it flawlessly and now BF1 will have a huge consumer base.
