Call of Duty 2 now backwards compatible on Xbox One

4.3
Xbox One players can now play Call of Duty 2 through Xbox One backwards compatibility. Larry Hyrb announced on Twitter that it is coming today.

Call of Duty 2 was released in 2005 by Infinity Ward and is the second Call of Duty game to be backwards compatible after Black Ops 1 was released back in May.

Call of Duty 2 features four World War 2 campaigns split into three stories over multiple Allied missions: American, British and Soviet. The game contains four individual campaigns, split into three stories, with a total of twenty seven missions.

The game also features multiplayer with maps including Normandy, Africa, and Russia.

I have so many great memories with this game. I missed it so much, I might have to buy it again because mine is broke...

Everyone will forget about this in a couple of months when Modern Warfare comes out

It's nice to see an older CoD on the backwards compatibility for the Xbox One. A lot of twitter people bashing this game right now with the hype. It's a shame that I'm not on the console for myself. Have fun xbox players! Now waiting for the MW2 you're asking... I would as well.

It's nice to see another Call of Duty game for backwards compatibility. Not too much longer until Modern Warfare 2.

Waiiit, I thought call of duty 2 was the big red one? I had that on PlayStation 2. I might get this if it's $10 to hold me over till overwatch's competitive mode comes back
