No Man's Sky day one patch is now live

No Man's Sky's day one patch is already live a day early on PlayStation 4. The patch is 824MB, which is roughly a quarter of the game's size, which is 3.69GB.

The patch brings three story paths to follow in the game, a deeper trading system, new combat mechanics, and expansions to your personal and space vessel inventories.

This patch, which includes a few more changes, is the "first of many" free updates to the space exploration title. Future upgrades will let you build bases and own "giant space freighters."

Glad they're doing the free updates throughout the games existence, PS4 games are very expensive these days. I'd still expect them to do some in game purchases though but glad the updates and big features will be free.
