No Man’s Sky US PC release date pushed back to August 12th

4.6
No Man’s Sky PC release date in the US has been pushed back a couple days. The game will now release worldwide on August 12th, which is the same day those in the UK will be getting it.

This announcement comes from the founder of Hello Games, Sean Murray who announced it on Twitter. He stated, "There are reasons we have to be tight lipped at times. I’m sorry for the confusion caused. I’m here tonight adding support for 21:9 monitors. We don’t even have one. I’ve stuck some cardboard to the side of mine."

No Man’s Sky is still set for release on PlayStation 4 on August 9th in North America and August 10th in Europe.

Sucks but still can't wait to try the game out.

Such a shame for people who want this game.

This reminds me of R* pushing back GTA. But they will have more time to fix up the game so.

Nick Wish they'd release this game on xbox. It's the only system it's not on.

Um. Wii U? PSP? Gamecube? Lol. Joking.

I love how they brag about it being done and ready and still push it back. They've had soo many complications on this game, I'm surprised they never gave up.

It is done, they are just added proper 21:9 aspect ratio support so there are no issues or complaints about it missing on day one. "soo many complications" what kind of complications. They have been pretty silent for most of development other than moving the release date back a few times.

Always better to just push back a launch rather than having a bunch or errors.
