Xbox One S Dismantled; Shows Tiny Power Supply, Cooling Unit, APU

4.4
I bet you want to see what’s inside that little sleek Xbox One S body, don’t you? Well, you have come to the right place.

YouTube user Austin Evans took upon himself the task to open up an Xbox One S, and expose its innermost secrets, all the way to the APU.

We get to see a really tiny power supply (at least compared to the original Xbox One), the naked motherboard, the cooling unit with its two copper heat pipes and plenty real estate for the fins, and even a secret Master Chief hidden under the hood.

Check it out below.

looks so much neater than the xbox 360, i still have my carcass in my closet of the thing, you can really tell that they engineered the one s's hardware so much better in terms of management

I think it's awesome how they put a master chief inside the console. Not many people would be opening a console up. Would be cool if they did different characters for special edition consoles.

CriticaI If it is this easy to take apart, does that mean it will be easier to jtag?

Jtagging takes a lot more than just knowing how to take it apart lol

The xbox one will never be jtagged ever. They may find a vulnerability in the software or something but there is no possible way the same exact method of jtag will ever work.

There's a backdoor to everything.
Everything is exploitable

That is so cool and so interesting video to watch for sure. You can learn so much from watching these sort of videos. I took about my 2 PS3 consoles are that was fun...just saying. The Xbox One S Power Supply is so small omg.
