Sony’s PlayStation 4 Was The Highest Selling Console in June

4.8
Sony’s PlayStation 4 continues to dominate the gaming industry by selling the highest number of consoles in the month of June. Market research company, NPD Group Inc., have confirmed that the PlayStation 4 beat both, Xbox One and the Wii U, in sales, last month. The PlayStation 4 has been the top-selling console for quite some time now. The console has maintained its spot as the highest selling console since November, 2015. 343 Industries’ Halo 5: Guardians helped the Xbox One beat the PlayStation 4 sales in October, 2015. However, the PlayStation 4 has stayed at the No.1 spot ever since.

The PlayStation 4 is expected to stay at the number 1 spot throughout the summer season due to the release of the upcoming space adventure game known as No Man’s Sky. No Man’s Sky is developed and published by Hello Games. The highly anticipated title is set to be released in August, after going gold earlier this month. Recently, Sony and Microsoft confirmed that they are working on upgraded versions of the current gen consoles. These new consoles will be more powerful and will perform better than the current ones. Microsoft announced Project Scorpio, which will be 4.5 times more powerful than the current Xbox One. The announcement of these new consoles may have had an impact on the sales of the consoles currently available in the market.

Kaai i think since activision switched that made a big influence on that.
Not to mention the forced integration of Kinect 2.0 that nobody wanted. Nobody wanted a $100 camera that did nothing. Releasing the PS4 cheaper than the Xbone did wonders for them.

Yes the PS4 sold more because who would buy an Xbox One with the Xbox One S right around the corner?

That's awesome to hear, myself is a fan of the PS4. I think the big sale count started when all the pro players and general players brought the PS4 due to early DLC release for BO3.
