Frank West is back after a bit of time away from the zombified spotlight for Dead Rising 4, and as the game’s yuletide setting has signified, the upcoming zombie action game may be arriving just in time for Christmas with a December release date.

Following the game’s official reveal at E3 2016 earlier this week, reports indicate that the Xbox Store may have potentially revealed the release date for the upcoming Dead Rising 4, with a date having been listed for December 6th, 2016 before being removed by Microsoft.

While no specific release date has been confirmed by either Microsoft or Capcom at this time for the game, the date does fall within the original timeframe of a “holiday 2016” release for Dead Rising 4, and given its Christmas theme it would surprising to not have it fall within the late November/early December window in time to deck the halls with zombie blood.

Dead Rising 4 will release for Xbox One and PC in Holiday 2016 – stay tuned for more official confirmation from either Microsoft or Capcom on the final release date for the title as news develops.
