I was at the movies the other day and it got me thinking. Lets just say movie theaters died off which I don't believe will ever happen completely but lets just say they did. Would you care at all? Is going to theaters still important to you? or is your home setup good enough? |

Arent they dead already? I know covid killed most of them around me. There are so may sites now a days to watch new movies online. Some may be illegal but there are a ton of legal places. |

eh not really havent went in awhile but every so often if a good movie comes out we will, honestly netflix or on demand at home is sometimes just as good or better to enjoy a good movie with 0 strangers, a good surround system and a nice size and quality tv and its just as enjoyable plus ur own home |

I know the movie business was dying down but I mean there is HBO now and other places to watch the movies. It wouldn't bother me but it is fun going to the movies and nothing is better than their popcorn & sneaking in candy lol |

I rarely go but I love the experience. I have a sound system and projector at my place and it's real smooth, so I kinda consider the cinema to be a waste of money. I only go for movies I'm massively excited for. I think the last movie I went to a mainstream cinema for was The Joker. It's a nice experience but certainly not a necessity for me.
In my community we show independent films from around the world in our homemade cinema. I think it will be a real loss to the artistic world if the value of the art of cinematography continues to diminish. |

Went to see the new avatar in 3D at the cinemas, everything is soo overpriced, the staff is clueless sometimes I swear. Rather watch it in my shed |

Overpriced, and unless you take your own snacks and drinks it's ridiculously expensive.. |
