I just built a new box. New B550 gigabyte board, new Ryzen 5 CPU, new case. New mouse and keyboard.

I installed my used m.2 nvme, and my used Kingston memory at 8gb.

I installed Windows 10 fresh, and the performance sucks. Every click, drop-down, right click...every command takes about 10 to 15 seconds to respond.

Safe mode works fabulous and response is great, but not in standard mode. I just cannot figure it out. Task manager says disk usage is low, CPU is at 4%, absolutely nothing wrong.

Has anyone experienced something like this?

I mean it's hard to kind of say whats wrong with the info provided. What exactly is wrong with your windows install?
