My boyfriend is using a 44p monitor with a 165hz refresh rate.
At our old place, the xbox (Xbox Series S) and monitor kept a stable 120fps. Now, it is micro stuttering extremely bad. His monitor has freesync if that matters. We have the same internet plan as we did before (only now its under my name) and we only live a few minutes away from the old place. When he is playing games he can get one input or hit in in the same time the other person gets two in. His monitor tracks the frames and it goes all the way down to 48 from 120 and then goes back up. We have talked to our internet service provider multiple times and have also talked to xbox. It has just been a wild goose chase. We have no clue what is causing the problem. Its even happening on a brand new Xbox. When we speed tested our internet, it was the expected 550mbps on my computer, but wouldn't go above 350mbps on the Xbox. What is happening here and how do we fix it? I'm really sick of this cause he says it's unplayable. Please if anyone can help, we need to fix this issue. |
