Hello
Anyone else having issues or know of any fixes for crashing randomly on PC, I'm using the Steam version of MW2. I can go for a while without crashing and then all of sudden it will just freeze up mid game and then crash with an error message. It prompts me to scan and repair but this does nothing |

This is mostly caused by the latest NVIDIA Graphics Driver.
Go to the website and manually download a version or two before the latest. I went from crashing every hour to every 8 hours |

So I tried reverting to older drivers, still crashed a lot and also tried the latest Nvidia hotfix which was way worse for me.
I have found though that by disabling full screen optimisation in windows for this game has helped a lot, so far it hasn't crashed, I expect it will still crash at some point but either way it's a lot better for me now so this might work for anyone else who is on PC and crashing a lot |
