Long story short, I have an old Instagram account that I recently stumbled across but I cannot log into it.
I have the @ and the password which I created the account with. I do not have access to the original email on the account, my dumbass created it using one of those temporary email services. I do not even know the full address to try to backtrack to this, just the 2 characters Instagram shows when trying to send a password reset email. There is not a contact phone number on the account as far as I can tell, when attempting to reset the password there is no option for this. And it looks like Instagram has reset the password at some point over the last few years. When attempting to log in using the @ and the original password I am greeted with a message: "Error To secure your account, we've reset your password...." then it ultimately leads me to their useless FaQ page. At this point I'm pretty sure the accounts a loss, but any help would be sincerely appreciated. Update: Adding a $20 reward to anyone who leads me to a successful recovery of this account. |
