All saves on the site and elsewhere don't do what they advertise so I thought I'd just edit my save but the game says the save is corrupted after trying to load it regardless of the change.
Anyone has any idea how to modify these saves? I'm trying to hex edit the missions completed. I'm pretty sure I've located the proper values as I compared different saves with different completion rates but it keeps failing even if the values are perfectly valid (verified by comparing with saves where I legitimately achieved the intended result). I didn't forget to reencrypt and even resigned even though I know it's pointless. UMvC3 has a save editor, how did they manage it (save data should be fairly similar)? |
