Just started an alternative exercise to what I'm used to, obviously using a different muscle but the DOMS hit me hard. Best remedy for Quads DOMS?

Avoid stairs and downhill slopes at all costs haha

there is no real 'remedy' as such but just stretch/foam roll as much as is comfortable, weirdly what used to help me was training the same muscle group again in that week at like 50% of the previous session to get the blood flowing again, give it a shot maybe!

I found that a heat padded roller is the way, keeps the blood flowing, quite a relaxed massage then hitting the same group 3 days later. 3 days of pain for long term gain!
