hi recently got a pc and i am having trouble using my headset, my pc has two 3.5m jacks one for sound one for mic so i got a splitter for my headset anyway i cant get the the mic on the headset to work when i record sound to test it i can hear that my voice is being recorded threw the speakers on the headset where the game sound comes from and not from the actual mic on the headset im so confused as i have tried everything i can think of tried just plunging it into the mic port and still will only pick up sound threw the speaker that should be playing the game sound
sorry about the grammar/spelling the head set is a turtle beach recon 70 straight out the box new also tried with other headsets and still dose the same thing |

| sorry for my misunderstanding but from what i am understanding is your mic isnt picking up your voice but the speakers from your mic are? |

| Could just simply be your audio devices are configured wrongly for input/ output? |
