Hey,

I'm assuming at this point my mobo is borked, but if you all have any advice, I wouldn't mind giving it a go.

I recently updated the PSU and video card on my desktop. I noticed now that if I run an application that Windows lists as Very High for power usage, my USB devices will periodically disconnect. I've been at a loss to figure out the cause.

Things I've tried:
reset BIOS
set BIOS to OC mode
tried two other new PSUs

One of the things I'm thinking of looking into is under device manager I have way too many devices listed as USB hub (I only have two hubs attached to my computer and it lists like 13) and I wonder if that might be causing an issue?

Generic SuperSpeed USB Hub (3x)
Generic USB Hub (6)
USB Root Hub (4)

I only have 4 USB host controllers listed when there should be 6.

Let me know what info I can add to improve context.
