Having already revealed the controllers for its next-generation virtual reality headset, we have good reason to believe that PlayStation is ready to share more about PS VR for PS5.

This doesn't guarantee an E3 showcase, but we wouldn't be surprised if Sony presents a better look at upcoming PS VR games for the PS5, revealing how the new features of the headset and its controllers are being utilised by developers for next-generation virtual reality experiences. While a release date and price point seem like a stretch, expect PS5 VR to become more central to Sony's marketing over the next few years, and that could kick off this Summer.

Super curious to see where next gen VR takes us. I've never gotten super into VR like some of the users on here. I mean I'd expect more immersive and cooler experiences, as vague as that sounds lol. I hope they can make these VR headsets affordable without making too many concessions on the actually technology.

I mean eventually they will be bringing things out where you can move without going anywhere. I saw some videos of this treadmill kind of setup and it looked super cool although they would need to find a way of making it compact as not many people have a ton of space they could use for something like that. Personally I have never gotten into the whole VR idea as I feel its not immersive enough to the point I would want to spend a bunch of money on it but in the future I am hoping for something I can play and actually feel like I am there.

I'm thinking they will for a few if not most of them since cross compatibility is a highly sought after feature nowadays

And 20 tittles is a pretty significant number, I've only heard the actual names of a few of them.

Cross play yeah! They should be coming out more for a few of the games at least. It's a big thing now. And only some of the titles for PS5 I have only sort of heard of.

Personally every console should have cross platform capabilities

Cross play will for sure be a thing for every console and PC but no clue how long we gonna wait for this unfortunately. Destiny 2 was supposed to be Cross Play this year and still no news

It would be great even if they released a "Splinter Cell Trilogy Remastered"

Remastered original games would be dope. Smoothed out gameplay and of course the graphics update would do it for me. I think I'd rather have a new game though. One featuring modern multiplayer and comp.

Agreed, or release a remastered title with a new title similar to how they did with CoD a few years back.

I was thinking the same to see where next gen VR will be. Their way so exspensive now they need to cut it less.

It's always been to exspensive my opinion. I wear glasses to so always never felt comfortable for how that would work.

Maze wrote It would be very, very bold of them to do what they normally do: showcase a ton of single player, exclusive titles. With the lack of PS5's in stock, and the insane price gouging that's still happening, I really hope they don't BS us, but then again, it's Sony... What can you really expect?

I suppose this could be a big talking point, but whether or not they are ready to really announce something that big is a factor there.

Yeah that's to much.

Games for Summer:
Chivalry 2 (June 8)

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade (June 10)

Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart (June 11)
