Hello!

We are building a sound-studio computer and need something that will deliver the absolute minimum of noise.

We have a Fractal Design 7 compact case and a Intel i9 10850K CPU.
The CPU will probably not be under really high load in normal circumstances, but it will get some quite a bit of exercise as when we use our audio-software.
Its more important for us to keep noise low than CPU cool. As long as the CPU dont get TOO hot of course.

So what would be the best solution here to minimize sound?
We could go with a low noise CPU air cooler like NH-D15s, but would also then need a couple of case fans, maybe a couple of Noctua ULN fans for intake and exhaust. That would be overall 4 fans (2 intake, cpu and exhaust)

Or would it be better to go for a CPU water cooler like, Corsair H100i Pro? I would guess i could then mount the radiator so at the intake position in the case so the two radiator-fans would also be intake fans. I could then skip the two noctua ULN intake fans and use just the radiator fans. That would be overall 3 fans (2 radiator and intake, 1 exhaust).

What do you think would give us the lowest noise possible?
