I miss the good old days man now you can't even play that game anymore no one plays it anymore I can't join lobbies takes me forever

It takes so long to find a game because they screwed up matchmaking on the older games with the latest backwards compatibility update, not because nobody is playing it, you would be surprised how many people still play MW2/3.
