I want to make sure I get a motherboard that will have enough PCIe slots. Can somebody please recommend an Asus or Gigabyte motherboard for about £300 ($420) - £500 ($700).

This is going to be my build.

CPU - i9-11900KS

Heatsink - be quiet! dark rock pro

Sound card - Asus Essence STX II 7.1 (this sound card has a motherboard and daughterboard)

Graphics card - RTX 3080

PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD - WD Black SN850 2TB M.2

Memory - Crucial Ballistix MAX 32 GB 4400MHz.

Power supply - Seasonic Prime 1000 Titanium

PC builders are often seen as wizards however, I can't link you a product that hasn't been released yet

I mean, ideally, I would wait until the CPU that you want is released. Then I would wait and see what reviews there are for Z590 motherboards paired with the same CPU. I've not even seen any Z590 reviews with 10th gen CPU's yet, although to be fair I haven't looked at all.

That said, if you're just buying now with the information currently available, I would probably just grab whichever of the Asus Strix boards you like best(they're all around £300/350) or spend your full 500 quid budget and get the Maximus XIII Hero.
