Only thing is its mostly outdated parts that cannot be upgraded

Couldn't agree more.

Considering at the moment it's impossible to get a hold of GPU's that is a bargain.

The 1070 is still a very capable card.

One of my pals recently went from a 1070 to 3070 without upgrading anything else other than a BIOS update.

I know he's now bottlenecked by his little R5 1600 but it's a start and it performs.

In theory, your upgrade path would be GPU, MBD & Storage, your CPU should last a while longer providing it hasn't been ruined with OC.
