Hello can someone recommend me a good hdd and ssd for gaming

Been looking at this

But unsure about SSD I have PCIe.4 slot that I want to use

Do you need 8TB of storage? You would greatly benefit from an SSD or NVMe if you could make do with lower capacity in a trade off for much better performance. PCIe Gen 3/4 have no noticeable differences in performance apart from transferring files, you wouldn't notice any benefit from booting, loading games and general usage. If you still wanted a PCIe Gen 4 seeing as you have a slot for it, the Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus seems to be the best of the bunch.
