I'm interested in doing a new PC build with some new components, and some older ones that I will use from my current setup.

I was wondering if someone could tell me what they think of this new build.

I will list the new and current parts I plan on using. The new parts are recommendations from 21, from a previous post I made last year, but have yet to get around to actually doing it yet due to COVID.

Thank you in advance for your comments and advice !

CPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor - New
CPU Cooler - Wraith Stealth Cooler (Stock) - New
Motherboard - MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard - New
RAM - Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Memory - New
GPU - XFX Radeon RX 580 GTS XXX 8GB - Current
SSD - Crucial 500GB - Current
HDD - 1TB Western Digital Drive - Current
PSU - Corsair CX750M, Model No. - 75-002019 - Current
Case - Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid Tower Case - New

In terms of the RAM, 21 recommended 32GB but I've gone for 16GB as I'm not sure I need 32 but if it will be more beneficial in the long run then I can look at changing it.

Is there much of a difference between the 3600 and the 3600x that would make it worth upgrading to?

Also, I've had my current PSU for around 7 years now. I've not had any problems with it but have seen it's worth changing them every 5-10 years depending on usage. Given my new build will I need to change this or will I be ok using it still ?

Any recommendations or changes are welcome.

Cheers.
