Hi GUYS I JUST GOT A NEW PC !!! Moving over from console after years haha. Now I'm trying to optimize it as much as I can get the best frames possible for a game like Warzone. i tried a couple games of plunder and seem to be getting about 100 fps. now thats not bad compared to my ps4 haha but i was wondering if it were possible to get better frames ? or how to know if that is the max for my PC.

I am plugged into ethernet also adjusted my monitor to 144hz. According to my task manager my Memory speed is 3200mhz (i went into bios and changed it), CPU speed seems to be 4.2Ghz.

Even after using MSI afterburner, setting core voltage 100, core clock +240 Memory clock +600, fan speed 80 = still around 110-115 fps
1920x1080 144hz !
RAM cards are in slots 2 and 4
running temp is around 71 degrees when playing warzone

Are there any other settings I need to adjust to improve frames ? When i chose this build i thought it would be getting 140fps on Warzone.

i've updated my drivers, got the geforce game ready 461.09.

I wouldn't be messing with Afterburner on a brand new 3070, all you'll do is ruin the life-expectancy early on, especially if you don't know what you're doing.

Your problem is unlikely to be your PC, rather the settings you are playing on.

Even with a 3070, at 144Hhz you should aim for med-high settings.

Ultra would be possible with at 3080/3090 and a much better CPU.

A 3070 should be smashing every setting to ultra on 1080p 144Hz, I run a 3070 at 1440p Ultrawide on medium to high settings across most games, ultra on others..

Which games are noticing low FPS?

100-115FPS sounds about right for an R5 3600+RTX 3070 @ 1080p Ultra settings.

You really shouldn't be playing any game at Ultra preset settings though, even just slightly optimising settings for each game can net you massive FPS gains.
