As LE I have seen numerous suicides and have seen mental health patients. From my experience I can give you this.

I was injured in Afghanistan and went into a deep depression cause I couldn't return to my brothers. Drank myself to sleep most nights and my wife was always worried. I thought about suicide sometimes but always remembered this saying that a chaplain told me "There's nothing in this life worth taking yours over"

Everything shall pass, surround yourself with people who care. Seek help through a therapist or just a friend. Don't be afraid to speak up and get the proper attention. No one will look down on you

Stay strong brother.

A bit long but:
As people, we are always changing who we are, our views and opinion; If it ever seems like a time that is the lowest you've ever felt you have to stick it out my man and know that it will improve, maybe not right away. Times change, and we change and you have to know that there are people that care and if you aren't happy with yourself, then ask yourself what you can do about it, even the smallest things and goals help. Surround yourself with those who love you and stick it out. Depression and isolation has gotten to me a lot over this crap year of the pandemic as well and I started talking to a psychologist and it helped me so much. If you can't get with a professional even a trusted family member is good, if you have to stuff to get off your chest talking about it is the only way out, otherwise it's a downward spiral. If you ever need someone to talk to feel free to send me a message and we can chat on cord sometime man. Stay strong and be safe, just look for the positives and don't dwell on the negatives brother. <3
