My monitor keeps blacking out during games. Happens for about 5 seconds and then comes back on, Very frustrating during multiplayer games.

I have changed the HDMI numerous times, which I read on other forums could be the issue.

Any ideas PC master race?

Acer XF270H B Monitor
Radeon RX580
AMD Ryzen 1700
Samsung SSD 840 PRO Series (X2)

Firstly ensure you have the most recent drivers for whatever GPU you are using. If this just recently started happening after getting new drivers, I would try and roll them back

When you say changed HDMI, what do you mean? Changed the cable? Have you tried using a different input on the monitor and/or output on the GPU?

Also, as above, are GPU drivers up to date?

Yes new HDMI and GPU Drivers are up to date. Starting to lean towards internal monitor issues.

Like quarintine_clean said was this a issue before updating the GPU drivers or was it happening before the update.

Try using DDU to reinstall your graphics drivers. I would make sure you're using a high quality HDMI, or swap to DisplayPort. A cheap HDMI can have data delivery problems.

Also, are you overclocked? If so, try reverting to stock settings. Although you're not totally crashing, you could be having power delivery problems. Ensure you're using the right GPU power cables.
