My budget is about 1200-1400 USD

PC will be for gaming

I currently have a 1440p 60hz monitor, which I plan on upgrading after the PC (Price of new monitor is not considered in the budget.)

No peripherals needed.

Will need a copy of Windows.

Would like the ability to overclock.

I'm looking to build a new gaming PC soon. I was wondering if it would be worth it to start buying parts with Black Friday being around the corner. There is no rush to get the PC built immediately, so if there are any parts coming out soon that I should wait for I'm ok with doing that. If there are only a few parts worth buying for Black Friday, I'm ok with just getting those for now too. Just looking for some advice on what/when I should buy. I've had my current gaming pc for about 8 years (with a few little upgrades throughout that time) and am pretty out of touch with modern hardware.
