I've managed to pack neymar in my opening packs

His price is roughly 900-950k at the moment

Should I wait to sell him or hang onto him as I think players for the team I want to buy will rise soon

Yep exactly, sell Neymar later on tonight at some point and buy your team tomorrow morning would be your best bet.
