My answer also would have been the Akatsuki but that isn't very fun since it's been done. So my second favorite is

Abilities:

The strongest being on Earth, only possibly matched by Gon's nen sacrificial form. His physical abilities are simply unrivaled in the fights he takes part in.


The ant arc starts off feeling like filler, but ends up being one of my favorite arcs out of any anime. This has a lot to do with Meruem, and watching not only his fights, but the way he grows emotionally and mentally.
