Hi, I'm from Kenya and I have been thinking of building my own PC for photo and video editing. Locally most PCs are over priced or just not available in the configuration I want

I would be sourcing for parts from USA through Amazon and other sites

I however have no experience with building pcs and I would appreciate any advice on the process, from choosing the right parts to sourcing them to assembling them

What is your budget and currency?
For the whole setup, I can go to a max of 1500 USD - I'll consider prices in USD since I am getting nearly all the parts from USA

What will you use the PC for?

I'll use it for photo and video editing

The software I will be using are:
    Affinity photo
    Davinci Resolve
    Active presenter
The usual software such as MS office, Firefox, etc

Do you need a monitor? If not, what monitor(s) will you be using?
I will need this also - however, I might get this locally since shipping a heavy screen will cost a lot - but if I can't find it locally, then I will have to consider buying it from USA

Do you need a keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals?

I can get these locally

Do you need an operating system?

I will get Windows online

Will you overclock?

This is something I don't know if it helps for editing - if I can still do the same tasks without overclocking and it saves on cost, then I will definitely choose that

Anything else we should know?

I tried building one using pc part picker but I'm not sure if this is a good setup or not. The total cost for the items below is already around 1150USD and I haven't added the case, screen, accessories, Windows and office. If there is a way to get the cost down, I would appreciate if I can be guided - maybe choosing a different processor?
