Hi new to the forum and will be trying to do my first build. Already have all the peripherals plus 2 x HDD's and was wondering if people could give comments and suggestions on what I am thinking for my build. Not build a PC before, would welcome comments/advice, on a budget but also like it to be future proof to last so I can upgrade in the future.

Would ideally like to get the price around £800, however need to add 3 more aRGB fans for the case (preferably white).

Looking at the Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 V2 ARGB Black 3N1 Pack (£39.95). Also, possibly a different CPU cooler. All opinions appreciated.

Unsure how to daisy chain the fans to run them off the motherboard software. In fact it is the fan installation that has me confused. Would like recommendations for 3 argb case fans (2 top fans and one exhaust). Also, a little unsure about the clearance for the CPU cooler with the RGB ram?

Went a little OTT on the PSU as I want it to be future proof when changing out components later.

AMD Ryzen 3 3300X 3.8 GHz Quad-Core Processor

Scythe Mugen 5 PCGH Edition 43.03 CFM CPU Cooler

Thermal Compound Arctic Silver 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver or Artic MX4

MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard or the ASUS Prime X570-P ATX

Crucial Ballistix RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory

Western Digital Blue SN550 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive

MSI Radeon RX 570 8 GB ARMOR OC Video Card or the Asus ROG RX 570 8gb GPU.

Case Cooler Master MasterBox TD500 Mesh White w/ Controller ATX

Corsair TXM Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply

thanks in advance.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3100 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Processor (£93.98 @ Amazon UK)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock 4 CPU Cooler (£59.39 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard (£105.36 @ More Computers)
Memory: Crucial Ballistix RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory (£82.79 @ Amazon UK)
Storage: Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (£94.24 @ CCL Computers)
Video Card: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB OC Video Card (£204.98 @ CCL Computers)
Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid Tower Case (£79.95 @ AWD-IT)
Power Supply: SeaSonic FOCUS 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (£86.99 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £807.68

I'd save the 25 quid and grab an R3 3100 instead of the R3 3300x tbh. 3300x is about the same price as an R5 2600(x), which I would probably take instead of the 3300x.

B450 Tomahawk MAX will be more than adequate for an R3 3100/3300X. There's really no need to spend more on a motherboard with this budget, but if you do get a more expensive motherboard, I'd get the Asus Prime B550 Plus.

GTX 1660 Super is a vastly better GPU than an RX 570. I would definitely expect better than an RX 570 in a system with this budget.

P400A>TD500 IMO, but either is fine. If you get the P400A, use more Phanteks RGB products if you want to add more RGB fans/strips. If you get the TD500, use more CM RGB products.
