Instead of buying next gen console i figured id just invest in more up to date parts for my computer build. It is a few years old now so im wondering what i should change/upgrade first (besides buying a ssd of course)!!! It is used for gaming mainly and photoshop here and there! Thanks!!

Definitely add an SSD if you don't already have one.
Next logical upgrade after that would be a GPU, but if you're dropping $400+ on a GPU, I'd probably wait for Ampere at this point, maybe even RDNA2 if you're happy to hold on to the 1050Ti for a while. Although it depends on what monitor(s) you're using. If you're just running a 1080p60Hz monitor or something, then grab a 1660 Super and call it a day IMO. After GPU/SSD, I'd be adding more RAM. 16GB is the minimum I'd want in a system these days. |
