I'm pretty novice when it comes to knowing whats good and whats not in the pc gaming world. Would someone be able to make a list or shopping cart of a good build? Here's what i'm using the pc for.

What is your budget and currency? $800-$1000
What will you use the PC for? Gaming
Do you need a monitor? If not, what monitor(s) will you be using? Two Samsung T55 27" 1080p
Do you need a keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals? No
Do you need an operating system? No
Will you overclock? Possibly /Not if I don't need too
Anything else we should know? Games I'd be playing include CoD, GTA, other FPS games.

Thanks for any help!

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($199.99 @ Best Buy)
Motherboard: Asus PRIME B550-PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard ($149.99 @ B&H)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory ($61.99 @ Amazon)
Storage: Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($104.99 @ Adorama)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB TUF GAMING OC Video Card ($229.99 @ B&H)
Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400A ATX Mid Tower Case ($79.98 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Corsair CXM (2015) 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $896.92

You can spend an extra $15-20 for the P400A with RGB fans included if you want. Alternatively, you could save $20 by getting the P300A instead of P400A, but if you get the P300A you'll want to buy some case fans for it anyway.

Corsair CXM is the only half reasonable PSU I can find under $70, but the CX450M should really be a $40 PSU. All low end PSU's have been over-priced for a while now though, so you might just want to spend an extra $30 or so and get a nice, high end Gold rated, fully modular PSU. Something like this if you don't mind waiting for stock;

or if you want something right now, this will do the job;

You could up the 1660 Super to an RTX 2060 and stay within your $1000 budget if you wanted RTX+DLSS support. The GTX 1660 Super is more than capable of playing games @ 1080p60Hz though, and if you really want a GPU with RTX/DLSS, then you may as well wait for Ampere at this point IMHO.
