So I want to get a louder exhaust on my 2010 RS v6 camaro but not sure what's good or not. I've never bought a non stock exhaust before so I want opinions on what to get.

Lotta possibilities. Depends on how loud you want it and what kind of sound you're going for.

You could do a mid-pipe and headers.
You could delete the two massive mufflers and leave everything else.
You could straight pipe it with hi-flow cats.


There are about 100 sound clips of every version of exhaust mod done to the RS. Just find a clip you like and go for that setup.

My exhaust took 3 trips to the shop to get what I wanted.

Just do a resonator delete and straight pipe back with glass packs. You'll be very happy with how throaty it gets without the res

If you're initially unhappy with how loud it is you can flip the glass packs backwards and it will tone down the "crack"ing

If you're interested, I have access to the Dynomax replacement schematic that shows you where to cut and what to replaces
