Hey all, long time no see. I haven't been on here in months, but I'm looking to build a PC. Any help would be awesome with parts

What is your budget and currency? - $1000 USD
What will you use the PC for? - Strictly gaming
Do you need a monitor? If not, what monitor(s) will you be using? - No
Do you need a keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals? - No
Do you need an operating system? - No
Will you overclock? - Can anyone give me a rundown about overclocking?
Anything else we should know? - My only goal with this PC is to use it for gaming, strictly gaming and only that.

What monitor(s) are you using with the system?
What game(s) will you be playing?

60Hz or 144Hz?
If just 60Hz, then this is plenty;
PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($174.99 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Asus PRIME B550-PLUS ATX AM4 Motherboard ($149.99 @ B&H)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3600 CL18 Memory ($58.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($104.99 @ Adorama)
Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB TUF GAMING OC Video Card ($229.99 @ B&H)
Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid Tower Case ($87.81 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: be quiet! Pure Power 11 500 W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply ($69.90 @ B&H)
Total: $876.66

If you don't like/want a white case, then wait for the black P400A to come back in stock at normal pricing, or you could get this case instead;
pcpartpicker.com/product/CbqhP6/c...0-kgnn-s00

You could spend a little more for slightly better binned RAM;
pcpartpicker.com/product/2TFKHx/c...8g36c16u4b
pcpartpicker.com/product/ckvbt6/p...416g360c7k
Either of those kits are technically better than the G.Skill stuff, but you're not really going to notice it unless you manually tune your RAM. Honestly, even then, the G.Skill stuff @ 3600MHz CL18 is almost as good as you'll get with Ryzen anyway.

If it's a 144Hz monitor you're running, then I'd use some the rest of the $1k budget towards a better GPU, like this;
pcpartpicker.com/product/K8MTwP/m...00-mech-oc
If you want RTX/DLSS support, then you could get an RTX 2060 instead;
pcpartpicker.com/product/KX66Mp/g...2060oc-6gd
but the RX 5700 performs on par with an RTX 2070.
Since you never actually listed any games you'll be playing or which monitor(s) you'll be using, I can't make a proper recommendation on which GPU I would be buying in your situation.
