What is your budget and currency? $1000 USD

What will you use the PC for? Light gaming and media consumption. Ie. runescape, Minecraft, forza and Microsoft flight simulator 2020

Do you need a monitor? If not, what monitor(s) will you be using? I have an Asus mg278q and that is the only monitor I plan on using for the foreseeable future.

Do you need a keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals? I need a keyboard recommendation but not included in the budget

Do you need an operating system? No, I plan on using Linux.

Will you overclock? No

Anything else we should know? I'm a minimalist aka no RGB for me. Having wifi would be a bonus

this is my suggestion for a build. you can probably get a used hdd of 2-4tb for only $40 at a local pc part place, but the 500gb m.2 should be enough to start.

this is the keyboard i currently use, but it's rgb and such haha. whatever keyboard you get, i'd suggest cherry mx silver switches. they are fairly quiet without the "thick" feeling of cherry mx red silent switches.

keep in mind, this is all personal opinion, i am fairly new to pc building. best of luck!

EDIT: totally forgot about cooling. add a couple of these to your case, and everything will be good.
