I doubt it was an attack Cloudflares network is built off Anycast DNS so they just play the game of routing around problem datacenters. odds are this will be a problem with an upstream provider that Cloudflare uses.

TTG had the oddest outage because we were half up when almost everyone was out cold.

"This afternoon we saw an outage across some parts of our network. It was not as a result of an attack. It appears a router on our global backbone announced bad routes and caused some potions of the network to not be available. We believe we have addressed the root cause and monitoring systems for stability now."

Yeah thats just what i was told, cloudflare would be a pretty difficult task to take on haha. It would be insane if someone did do this though, as like 90% of the internet uses this.
