Well, first of all, here is the preview of Path of Exile Harvest:

Finally, the newest Path of Exile league has been announced successfully, and it seems like it will be a pretty fun one. Introducing Path of Exile Harvest, or, more players would like to call this, Path of Exile Farmville! Just with less than 24 hours to go until this latest expansion officially launch, we have already begun to see some very interesting skills and mechanics. Here, we will cover some of the much bigger things here and then keep our eyes peeled for more over the next 24 hours to see whether there is any more exciting news to release.

Here comes the Mechanics about Path of Exile Harvest League:

Just like the fun name indicates, PoE Harvest league, in fact, is all about getting seeds from maps, planting them, and then growing all of these your very own monsters, cause you know, that's what gardening should be. From the teaser, it appears you will be clicking on a group of pods within a map, probably opened as a result of killing the surrounding monsters, and collecting the seeds that drop out. As long as you have a handful of seeds, that means you can take them to the new NPC (Non-Player Character) and travel to the 'SACRED GROVE'. When you are ready, you can select to sprout the seeds, which will spawn monsters for you to kill and get various rewards like Path of Exile currency, various orbs and more. These monsters will power machines nearby that you can place, letting you do crafting recipes within it. The machine system seems pretty complicated, letting you take fuel from one machine to another via cables. We will get to know more about how this mechanic works as it gets much closer to release.

This mechanic is quite entertaining in many aspects, however, the biggest thing is that it is meant to make crafting far more accessible to the majority of players. It is not meant to push PoE items to new crazy power levels, as other leagues such as Synthesis ever did, but it is meant to allow the average player far more access to much higher tiers of gear, by that means you can get Path of Exile Exalted Orb or Chaos Orb more easily compared to the former version of PoE Delirium. It is also all totally within the game, therefore, you will not have to go to external resources to understand the systems, like you did in Synthesis and Bestiary. It is meant to improve the game without breaking it, and from what we have already seen so far, it seems like it reaches a quite good balance.

This is the Skill Reworks In Path of Exile Harvest League:

The good news is, there are a ton of skill reworks going into Path of Exile Harvest league. The major changes are mainly coming to Brands, Warcries, and Slam Skills.

Brand skills in Path of Exile Harvest were fully reworked. The biggest difference comes in the fact that now brands snap back to where they were firstly cast upon the death of their target, and now Brand Recall does not refresh the brand duration, which means the Archmage shenanigans are totally gone. But, there are three new brands and new brand support to compensate. Arcanist brand casts linked spells each time it activates. And I have to admit that is insanely strong. The penance brand does not cause any damage during its duration, instead of spreading to nearby enemies gradually. Once being removed from the target, it explodes dealing massive damage. And for the Wintertide brand deals cold damage over time to the attached target, causing more damage the longer it is attached. The new brand support is Swiftbrand support, which lowers the active and inactive duration of a brand, however, it increases its activation ratio. Keep in mind that this is a massive damage increase with multiple brands in play.

Generally, slam skills are being given, a much larger area of effect, much higher damage numbers, and more reliable mechanics. Skils in PoE Harvest, such as Perforate and Sunder are being changed mechanically to be more reliable. Tectonic Slam is having its 'Charged Slam' mechanic removed and replaced with much large AoE for the number of endurance charges. It is also being smoothed out by losing one charge every three attacks, rather than with a 35% opportunity. Also, there is a new slam skill being added, Earthshatter, which 'sends out five damaging fissures in all directions when you slam the ground". It also leaves spikes at the end of each fissure, which then explode if hit by another slam or warcry skill.

As you can see that the Warcries have been buffed across the whole board. Right now, the enduring cry has a bursting of healing as well as elemental resistances built into the existing skill. The intimidating cry now can be used as a gem (a currency in PoE) rather than through items, and it empowers your next attack to deal double damage. In Path of Exile: Harvest, the ancestral cry is a totally new ability that causes you next few strikers to also target nearby enemies.

Another new ability in Path of Exile Harvest is the seismic cry which causes your slam effects to have a much larger area of effect. Now rallying cry offers nearby allies a buff that grants a percentage of their weapon's damage as additional damage, as well as your next few attacks will also get boosted. The infernal cry is the new Abyssal cry, now coats nearby enemies in ash, making them explode on death. Lastly, the General's cry is yet another new ability which could be linked to melee attacks, and when used create ghosts that will use the ability once before dissipating, which is quite similar to how The Savior works.

Apparently, there is a lot of new stuff coming, and I just can not wait to try it all out. Hopefully, all of you guys are as excited as I am to try everything!

The third part is Skill Tree Changes In The Latest Path of Exile Harvest Expansion:

Just as usual, the biggest change in Path of Exile's new expansion, is still the form of skill tree reworks. There are a huge number of them coming this time around, allowing for a ton of build diversity and massive brand new builds. Many of the changes come from the Timeless Keystones, where several of them have already become the core on the tree, while also being replaced by totally new keystones within the jewels. For instance, The Agnostic previously was part of the Militant Faith timeless jewel, but now it will be naturally on the tree. Within the jewel, it will be replaced by a new keystone, named Transcendence. Transcendence says: "Armour applies Cold, Fire, and Lightning Damage taken from Hits instead of Physical Damage. -5% to all maximum Elemental Resistances." Just as you can see, there are some very unique and build defining keystones appearing, of course, this is just one of many.

There are also some new notable Path of Exile clusters being added around this skill tree. As usual, they are extremely powerful, with new notables that offer Elusive on kill, much stronger brands, and even Tribal Fury as a natural notable on the tree, no more need to anoint it! Across the board, these are strong buffs to a variety of builds, and many more are enabled. What's more, there are still lots to come.

So far, my personal favorite of the new addition is a timeless jewel keystone named Supreme Ostentation. This content says: "Ignore Attribute Requirements. You will gain no inherent bonuses from Attributes." This is totally absolutely the definition of build-enabling. Right off the bat this lets the use of Garb of the Ephemeral, which is likely the best item in this whole game if you can wear it. However, in the meantime, it also allows much easier gearing for any build that does not heavily care about stats, which largely means that any build not heavily concentrated on energy shield, stat-stacking, or health that can probably benefit from that. Especially, the whole Shadow class will benefit in a major way, because they tend to have much lower life totals, scant amounts of ES, and not scale off of dexterity in any way. I am quite happy to see Garb of the Ephemeral shoot up to 100ex, and then strive to find one.

Well, this is everything we know so far about Path of Exile Harvest League, but there is so much more to come, and so many more exciting things to discover and try out. Anyway, this league is already forming to be an amazing one, hopefully, they can deliver on so many incredible concepts!
