Hey guys, I'm having a bit of an issue with Xbox download and installs on the Xbox One.

I just moved to a new apartment have a new internet set up. I test my Network speed on my laptop which is directly next to my Xbox and get around 70-80 mbps which is good. I test the network speed on my Xbox and get 40-60 mbps which is also fine. But when I actually go to install game, I get only around 1-3 mbps.

Does anyone have any ideas? My internet is through Spectrum, I have a Hitron e31n2v1 modem and a tp-link archer a5 router. Both of them seem to work fine on other devices.

If anyone has any input I'd really appreciate it!

In case someone stumbles on this in the future...

I managed to resolve this by just uninstalling the game in question and reinstalling it from it scratch. There must have been something weird about the update.

Usually when this happens to me it's because it's a new game / update so theres a lot of people trying to download it at the same time. Usually get 230-300mbs on my Xbox but I've definitely seen it drop really low. Another trick I've heard of is clearing alternate mac address in your network settings on your xbox. But glad you were able to find a solution this time

Tbh the speed test on your Xbox isn't really that accurate so you're probably getting around 80mbps..
