There is a lot of injustice in society that date's back since the emancipation proclamation,
Over the past few decade's several groups emerged like the Black Panther's, Black Live's Matter etc who's goal is to promote equality.

With police brutality nowadays's being recorded it's bound to promote civil unrest since many minorities have had enough with our justice system.

Thus the protesting by these various groups are considered necessary and reasonable by both the left and right.

The issue is with the looting and burning down building's which is not whatsoever condone'd and as someone said, the protestor's have different agenda's, for some it's monetary while for other's it's for promoting basic civil rights.

I personally don't agree with any of the looting/violent act's BUT a building can come back (in theory but not every business owner has the money to rebuild their business).

But a person can not come back, George Floyd is gone, no way of reviving his soul but a business can be rebuilt.

I personally don't believe in discrediting the entire protests just because some radical's decided to do this or that, at the end the goal of all the protestor's no matter what is to promote civil rights,

But as said, everyone has different ways of leading up to that goal.

(once again im not condoning the looting whatsoever, many black owned businesses have been burnt down which is a travesty since the goal of the protests is to promote equality).

Black Panthers was mostly a socialist/communist group mostly derived of African Americans trying to promote a agenda. That agenda was not peaceful, it was violent and was almost like a militant group, almost as Similar to the KKK. As for BLM (Black Lives Matter) most of the organization is peaceful, but there are some that take advantage, and still promotes that white people should apologize for being white. I recommend looking at this video, because this guy is 100% right.

Are you talking about the original Black Panthers or the New Black Panther Party? The New Black Panther Party is already disowned by OG Black Panther members and even calls them a black racist hate group because the New Black Panther Party are the ones that have been calling for whites to be ashamed for being white, violence against whites, some even flat out calling for the death of white babies to lower the white population and the murder of Jews for some damn reason. The original Black Panthers were formed to protect their neighbourhoods and basically police the police on racial injustices. Their ideology was both nationalism (right wing) and socialism/Marxism (left wing.) They didn't go against any of America's constitutions, in fact heavily promoted the second amendment - of right to bear arms and protect yourself. Bloods and Crips formed from the idea of OG Black Panther group, with both forming to protect their communities but then shit went south really quickly and now the Bloods and Crips are what people know them as today. The New Black Panther Party you can compare to the KKK as both sides think one side is of a higher power than the rest and calls for violence against the other. The OG Black Panthers can't even be compared to the KKK by any means.

Their agenda was peaceful from the start, Malcom X got assassinated, Black Panthers form to protect their fellow blacks, they monitored police to make sure they weren't pulling whatever shit was going on in the 60s and basically calling for what is going on now, equal rights such as a black person's life is the same as a white, trying to get more black people into political offices since that shit was either rare or non existent during that time. Then when you have people labeling you as a gang and the police and FBI running operations against you as if you were a terrorist organisation, that's when you can argue their agenda got on the more violent side as that's when they started arming up and calling for others to arm up to protect themselves. Sure you had some that strayed away and took advantage be that killings, shootouts, and that one guy from their own group who got tortured and murdered for thinking he was a police informant, but that's with any organisation/following, as soon as you get more than one person in that group, eventually it's original message will eventually be lost from someone within the group going to an extreme. Political party, religion, movements, it doesn't matter, the second a group gets more than one member in it, it's only a clicking time before someone does something that completely lumps the rest of the group under one guise.

Jesus, there is so much wrong in what you just wrote I don't even know where to begin. Comparing the Black Panther Movement to the KKK? Are you serious? YOU are the reason these protests and riots are happening.

Yea u cant compare the BPM and the KKK. One group (KKK) had no reason to act the way they did, they were racist and belligerent. Though while the BPM had a lot of violence to them, not everyone in the group felt the same, other's just wanted African American voices to be heard, you can't say the same to the KKK who's were undeniably in the wrong.

Irony is, both groups come from same side of the aisle -- both work from liberal/democrat design.

Also notable that NBP are same ones that assassinated all those police in Dallas, TX. :-/

Rin wrote So when you say (OP) that these protests are worse than the "few that have been unlawfully killed by police" you are choosing to ignore the real problem which is institutional racism and police corruption.

What institutional racism? Where is the evidence that there is institutional racism in the US?

The statistics show that black people commit 52.5% of homicides in the US despite making up only 13% of the population.
The statistics show that black people commit 38.5% of violent crimes like rape, robbery, and aggravated assault in the US despite making up only 13% of the population.

93% of black homicide victims are killed by other black people.

The problem is not white people being racist, or institutional racism.
The problem is black people committing more crimes which results in more black people having interactions with the police which result in more instances of police brutality being perpetrated against black people.

You can drill down into these statistics and think about what is causing the high crime and murder rate amongst black communities, which people are doing, and some people have suggested that it comes down to poverty more than race, or that black communities have cultures which are more predisposed to tolerance of violence - but what these numbers do not suggest at all is that there is institutional racism in the US or that the police are institutionally racist.
