Hello, I hope it's my HDD just going bad... But that honestly doesn't make too much sense right now.
So I think two days ago is when I first noticed issues start.. the issue was a program I use for 3d printing just stopped working kept popping up with an error.. I uninstalled and reinstalled and everything was fine.. mind you the file were in the HDD the whole time.. this is what I think will help you the most.. I went to play EFT and at the launcher it wanted me to install it again.. I clicked on the select path option tho and found it on the "D" HDD and then it checked it and worked fine.. Everytime I'd load into raid tho I would get massive lag spikes for about 30 seconds tho and I have never had that issue.. I've also noticed my internet settings have been being reset like logins and such and I am not clearing anything... I hope it's a faulty HDD or an easy fix but I have never experienced this before... | In the case of file loss, defraging is one option but if something major like game files are being lost chances are it's the HDD failing. |

So this is A: just D drive and or B: C drive
If A, you could test with some sort of disk drive checker. If B, you could have some sort of weird malware, or the main drive (C) is actually failing. Only saying this because you are losing data (settings, logins, etc) that is based off of the C drive. Not *everything* game related (such as paths) are always stored on the installation drive. Also check the windows install, sfc /scannow etc PM me if you need more help, this is very broad. |

| Definitely agree with failing hard drive I would just replace not a very expensive fix. |

I thought it was resolved somewhat but idk. Anyways lets say it is the C drive with OS. Would that affect boot up? What happens alot ( for a while now just never got around to mentioning ) after BIOS screen it sits at a dark screen for a random amount of time I think.. never timed it but Id say upwards of 30 seconds. Prior to this happening I think I was at 9 second boot ups. Isn't that RAM tho? Lots of goofyness going on here. |

This may be silly.. and may not be your issue.. I had some similar issues a couple of times.
I finally figured out one time, a fan broke (did not realize) and my parts were over heating, causing really bizarre issues! The other time, I realized my hard drive was about full, and so that was causing some wonkiness. I doubt these are your issues, but tossing this out there in case this benefits someone. |
