What is your budget and currency? $1300 USD
What will you use the PC for? Music/Video Production + Casual Gaming
Do you need a monitor? If not, what monitor(s) will you be using? No, 42in. OLED TV via HDMI
Do you need a keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals? No, have it all
Do you need an operating system? No, have Windows 10 Key

Was hoping I could get some feedback from the community. This PC will be used primarily for music production (Pro Tools/Ableton), Graphic Design (Photoshop/ Adobe Illustrator), video production (Sony Vegas/After Effects)... then some casual gaming at the bottom of the totem pole. Where am I over spending and under spending? Overall suggestions? Thanks!

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8 GHz 12-Core Processor ($416.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken X63 98.17 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($149.99 @ NZXT)
Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard ($189.99 @ Best Buy)
Memory: Team T-FORCE DARK Za 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 Memory ($134.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Sabrent Rocket Q 2 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($239.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Cooler Master MasterBox NR600 (w/o ODD) ATX Mid Tower Case ($69.98 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA G3 550 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($115.97 @ Newegg)
Total: $1317.90

If you don't like the Cooler Master NR600, then the Phanteks P400A is a decent alternative case. Only if it's $70(or $100 for the RGB variant), don't pay over $100 for a P400A. Fractal Design Meshify C is a decent case too, should be $70 but is usually $90-100 which is a bit over-priced IMO, but if you like it then it's not terrible. I'd avoid the NZXT H510 though at this point really.

There's no reason to pay $120 for a Bronze rated PSU. You also definitely don't need anywhere near 750W.

You can grab the NZXT Kraken X53 instead of the X63 if you really want to save the $20, but so long as you're buying a case that supports a 280mm rad, I'd just go with the X63 if you're getting an AIO. Personally though, I'd just spend ~$100 on a nice air cooler- something like a Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4.

Although a B450 Tomahawk MAX is going to be fine with an R9 3900x, I'd really aim for a higher end motherboard. Asus TUF X570 is a great option for the price. However, B550 mobo's aren't too far off now, and might be a decent alternative if you want to save $50ish. I'd go X570 or wait for B550 at this point rather than go B450 tbh.
If you're going to go with a B450 motherboard though, then yeah, the Tomahawk MAX is the way to go.
