hello

This is a little different from the usual...( I am a noob when it comes to PC parts comparisons )

Can you please make a PC build with similar specs and performance as the RoG Zephyrus G14... I would like to know how much the potability costs when it comes to this machine.

The Zephyrus G14 , with a Ryzen 9 4900HS, RTX 2060 Max-Q, 16GB of RAM, an FHD, 120 Hz display, 1TB of SSD storage costs $1,449.99.

Performance (Benchmarks): [Minimum post requirement for links]

Specs (first row GA401IV) : [Minimum post requirement for links]

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor ($294.14 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: MSI B450 TOMAHAWK MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard ($114.99 @ Best Buy)
Memory: Team T-FORCE VULCAN Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($109.99 @ B&H)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB KO GAMING Video Card ($299.99 @ Newegg)
Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400A ATX Mid Tower Case ($79.98 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($99.99 @ Best Buy)
Monitor: MSI Optix G241 23.8" 1920x1080 144 Hz Monitor ($189.99 @ B&H)
Total: $1259.06

You could easily save some money on the motherboard, case, and PSU. Could also save ~$30 on the monitor by getting a VA panel instead of IPS, but I wanted to match it as closely as possible to the laptop's specs.

Desktop R7 3700x out-performs the 4900HS. The desktop RTX 2060 is also fairly significantly faster than the 2060 Max-Q. In fact, the 2060 Max-Q is more like GTX 1660 performance, but with RTX support.

So, you could easily save $400 with a similar performing system if you sacrifice some niceties.

Thank you so much for this!

What would be the most compact case in which one can fit these parts. (Using micro ATX)? Can one even use micro ATX HERE?

Slightly weaker heatsinks on the motherboard, but it's not a huge deal.

If you want even smaller, mini ITX;

Asus Rog Zephyrus G14 will come with reasonable price , and provides you high end performance.
The processor the are using is Ryzen 9, which is the same processor which is also used in next generation consoles like [Minimum post requirement for links] Ps5 and Xbox series x
On graphics side it has RTX 2060.
Moreover, it has 16 gigs of ram and 1 terabyte of ssd storage and 120HZ 1080p hd panel.
Bringing it all together, this Asus Rog Zephyrus G14 is actually reasonably price of $1449.
