Hey I'm going from 16gb to 32gb of RAM, just because. The market is quite good for them at the minute as far as I've seen.

Unsure if this is a stupid question or not. I currently have 2x 8gb Corsair vengeance 3200mhz ram sticks.

My motherboard is this: asus.com/uk/Motherboards/PRIME-X5...fications/

Would there be any difference if I added another 2x 8gb of the same RAM? or should it be 2 sticks of 16gb in slots A1/B1(dual channel) or doesn't it matter?

Yeah, just add another 2x8GB. Technically, 2x16GB is going to perform better, but I doubt it would be noticeable, especially if you're running a 3rd gen Ryzen CPU. Definitely makes more sense to pay $70 for an additional 16GB, than spending $150 odd for a full new 32GB kit.

As for pricing, it's actually been sneaking up lately. It's close to the best price you've been able to get 16GB for though, and I think if it was me, I would probably pull the trigger on the extra 16GB now, just in case the prices keep trending upwards. Little tough to tell yet what will actually happen with RAM pricing though.

Thanks for the quick reply. Trigger has been pulled, thanks again.
