So someone got into my steam account and disabled my steam guard, changed the email, and removed my phone number from my steam account, and I contacted steam support and am in the process of recovering my account. Just wondering if anyone has been in the same situation and how long it took?

I thought you have to confirm removing steam guard through your phone?

Ya no idea, just got 3 emails saying steam guard was removed, phone number removed, and email changed. Ended up getting the account back after about 8 days

Has happened to me and I was able to recover my account by providing proof such as a invoice id for game a purchased and a steam code I have recently redeemed and some other info about me,
Waited a few days and they send you a email with a new random password and changed to your original email you had like so

Im sure steam will help you ^_^


btw this issue can happen if you "sign in with steam" on some random dodgy sites such as free CSGO skins so be careful from them.
