Bribe wrote I got scammed 200$ here for a falcon JTAG back around 2012. Thats when I stopped frequenting this site because I thought everyone was just a bunch of no good scammers. I'm really sad about it tbh because that totally turned me off from trying to join the modding scene.

Damn dude, you missed out on a lot of good stuff just because of some random jerk off. Sad tbh

I've had a few people here try to scam me when I was selling. Once over a GTA recovery, they paid with Amazon gift card and I checked the code but didn't claim it because I used them for stealth and mod tools but never had any issues. Within 10 minutes of me finishing his account he claimed the gift card, it was either $35 or $40. I made a new account and joined his lobby and as he was showing of all his cool modded cars I put in his garage I got in them 1 by one and deleted them.

Another time someone charged back $180 for a GTA account but I won the PayPal dispute because I have a good track record with them. It comes with the territory I guess, it doesn't surprise me that the same kids that have to cheat their way through video games would be the type to scam lol.

I'm a naturally questionable kind of guy, but I was scammed at one point. Not due to my own ignorance, though.

Had an Xbox One X Scorpio Edition I needed to sell when I was moving. I was out of town and let my sister handle the transaction, and the guy ended up giving her prop money and bolted.

Had all the guys information. Picture, name, Facebook acount with 5-6 years worth of posts on it...Told the police and the cops ended up telling me the serial number I gave them got sold to Gamestop ONE DAY BEFORE the console even released and that the Facebook account was fake.

When I pushed that Gamestop literally couldn't buy a console a day before it even sold, they told me if I bothered them with it again I'd be charged with falsifying a report and attempted fraud. Perhaps the "sold back" date was them registering the console in the system..No idea. Ridiculous.

Back when I was doing gta accounts... I had a couple people try and charge back or claim the account was banned in order to get another one free of charge.

Recently... I wouldn't consider it scammed but the post office said they delivered a package to my house but they never did. Claimed they couldn't do anything for something they had marked delivered.
