RAM, CPU, MB, and DVD burner make no sense.

Requesting a list of parts

  • What is your budget and currency?
  • What will you use the PC for?
  • Do you need a monitor? If not, what monitor(s) will you be using?
  • Do you need a keyboard, mouse, or other peripherals?
  • Do you need an operating system?
  • Will you overclock?
  • Anything else we should know?

Hardcore gaming while maintaining great office functions. No keyboard, mouse needed. My monitor is a 24.5in 144hz

And yes. I'd like to overclock

Budget around 3500. Preferably less but always going for the bang for buck

What "office functions"? What exactly is the system being used for, other than gaming?
Any idea what kinds of games you'll be playing exactly?

Yelir25 wrote No keyboard, mouse needed. My monitor is a 24.5in 144hz

1080p144Hz? I don't think I'd spend quite so much on a system for 1080p144Hz in all honesty, although I suppose that depends what exactly the "hardcore gaming" you're doing is.

3500 what? USD, AUD, CAD, NZD, GBP, Rupees, Yen?

USD.
Again put the build together myself. I've been non-stop researching hardware for a week straight. Kids are getting older, I want this pc top of the line. Playing all triple A titles with highest graphics possible with highest frame rate possible. They haven't asked yet but I know VR is getting huge so better get the pc prepared for that. I essentially want a beast of a machine ready to take on ANY task. But I also didnt want to make someone come up with a build for me.

Though I love recommendations on parts, if you could give reasons why youd recommend something over what I've selected. I pay attention to gbs on GPU, cores and threads on cpu, compatible across the board. Low latency high speed graphics card. Spaciously fast ssd. An expensive motherboard (cause honestly I've looked and looked, idk exactly what I need I just want it compatible and I'm told MB and CPU and the backbone so I didnt want to skimp out on the wallet there)

Definitely need some guidance but in all honesty I thought I had a really good build going

Well, that's not going to be "bang for buck" then. You can definitely play AAA titles at 1080p144Hz and VR with a system far less expensive than $3500.

Yelir25 wrote I pay attention to gbs on GPU

Don't.

Yelir25 wrote cores and threads on cpu

Not all that's important, necessarily. If you were focused on more cores/threads, you'd be buying an R9 3900x or 3950x instead of an i9-9900k. None of those 3 make the most sense though IMHO.

Yelir25 wrote An expensive motherboard (cause honestly I've looked and looked, idk exactly what I need I just want it compatible and I'm told MB and CPU and the backbone so I didnt want to skimp out on the wallet there)

Well, first, the GODLIKE is not just "expensive"- it's a Halo product. It's overkill just for the sake of being overkill, but not even in the right places. It's absolutely god awful for the price you pay and you don't need to spend anywhere near that much on a motherboard.

Oh, and the Corsair 750D is a big no-no. That's also a Halo product(like the GODLIKE). However, it's a Halo product from I think 2012? Maybe 2013. So it's not even good quality compared to some cheaper, modern cases. It's also a pretty gargantuan case, like unnecessarily large.

I'll be back in a little bit with a parts list or 2 to recommend- I'll recommend what I think would make the most sense for you, and then maybe something a little more "overkill".

In my personal opinion, the RTX 2080ti isn't really worth it for the price difference between the 2080 and TI. For a few hundred more you really only get about 50ish increase in FPS the last time I checked. I had the money for either card when I upgraded but I saw the TI as unneeded for my personal needs. If money isn't an problem you mind as well go all out and buy a RTX titan by this point even though it's overkill lol.

So this would be more than adequate for your use case IMO;
PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor ($309.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock 4 CPU Cooler ($74.90 @ Amazon)
Motherboard: Asus TUF GAMING X570-PLUS (WI-FI) ATX AM4 Motherboard ($189.99 @ B&H)
Memory: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($162.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Sabrent Rocket Q 2 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive ($219.99 @ Amazon)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB XC GAMING Video Card ($529.99 @ Amazon)
Case: Phanteks Eclipse P400A ATX Mid Tower Case ($77.98 @ Newegg)
Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply ($86.99 @ Walmart)
Total: $1652.82

This even has some extra money spent on creature comforts like a nice motherboard, Gold rated fully modular PSU, 2TB NVMe SSD, etc.
Add your 3 Corsair LL140 fans if you'd like, or you can spend an extra $20-25 for an RGB version of the P400A which comes with 3 included fans.
Vengeance RGB Pro are nicer than TridentZ RGB btw- I've had both. That said, TridentZ RGB will work fine if you prefer them and they're the same price as Vengeance Pro RGB for 3200MHz anyway.

Then, if you wanted to spend 3.5 racks, you could go supreme overkill and still have some coin left over;
